My friend is about 92. He forgets a lot. He does not trust anyone, does not listen, physically weak. He was a scientist, now in a senior citizen home. He needs an attendant 24/7, but refuses. His children are all abroad, but someone visits him quite often. This facility has two doctors and a few nurses. But they cannot handle him or such residents. This man refuses to go to hospital. Any advise? Please.

This medication may help him connect with others. But it should be monitored closely. Since you are only his friend, you will not be able to do this without family member authorization. Contact his family about this medication and see if they will find out if this medication is working and if it is being monitored appropriately for a man his age. If it isn't working or is not being monitored, a family member should step in. There are other medications to help this man.
