Traveling With Liquid Methadone On A Cruise Ship

I would like to know if anyone has had any issues recently with carrying their liquid Methadone on a cruise ship? A friend is going around family that do not know she is prescribed this medication. She is flying to the port first. Any help or tips are truly appreciated!

I'm not sure I understand the concern about your friend going around family doesn't know she is prescribed methadone. Is your friend capable of causing them any harm in doing so?

Regarding issues carrying prescriptions onto a cruise ship, do cruise ships treat you like TSA does at the airport for carry-on items like medication? If not, it sounds like you shouldn't have to worry about it at all.

If they do act as TSA does, as long as you have your doctor's prescription (or even a doctor's note with the doctor's contact info) then even a program as stringent as TSA should allow you bring your prescription on board.

It just seems to me that it would be very unethical for them to say no under any practical circumstance.
