What are all the side effects, mild and severe, of Tramadol? ## Deborah, Tramadol has been very effective for pain and has the least side effects of most of the other pain meds. I've had chronic pain, spinal surgery, plates and screws and more - the point is that it gives pretty good coverage for severe pain. You might be aware of skin problems like itching and possibly hives. Does not seem to cause the drowsiness and fog some of the other pain meds can. Thinking and reaction time seems good. Careful stopping abruptly - if so flu like symptoms and really sleepy. Someone who works for me part time has been prescribed Flupen 250. He had a bad turn (stroke like symptoms. Lame left arm, face numb on one side & eye sight blured) about 6months back. He was seen by a local clinic in the area & kept in hospital for a day. He has full movement now, but is still sluggish. It is a mild opioid that is used to treat pain. The NIH warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Zerodol, however, is a brand name for a combination medication that contains Paracetamol, Aceclofenac and Serratiopeptidase. Hello. I have searched the web and can't seem to find a problem like mine while coming off tramadol. I have horrible stomach burning and pain that extends down both sides of my rib cage. It happened once before when I was coming off tramadol and you think I would have learned to stay away from this poison. Has anyone else had pain and terrible burning down both sides of their rib cage when coming off tramadol? This is day 2 for me. Hi. I've got a blister pack of 10 red pills. No markings/letters etc. 2 lines scored crossing eachother. Blister pack says they are tramadol hydrochloride USP 200mg. Manufactured by centurion laboratories in India. I'd like to make sure they are what they say they are. Thanks. ## Is there also a marking on the package UDT-200? I've been taking 10mg of oxycodone hcl per day for 2yrs; that down from 30mg 5yrs ago. Last visit to doctor, he wanted a UA. No prob til I was told it was going to be $150!!! I had a few left at home so I walked out. Now I'm out but I have 50mg tramadol. My wife has been taking Tramadol for 4 weeks for hip paint before hip replacement surgery next month. It worked fine for the pain. However, she has visoin problems. She is very light sensative and wears sunglasses and stays in rooms with blinds pulled. Her pupils appear over dialated and do not responde at the same speed to light (opening or closing). This has bothered her to the extent that she holds and moves her head in funny ways. She seems to be always trying to look down to keep light out of her eyes. Her head movements remind me of the way some blind people seem go constantly move their heads. She ahs tight and soar neck muscles. SHe hold thing very close to her eyes to see what they are. I have been taking tramadol for a year now for my back and I have been reading about withdrawls and I really dont want to be dependant on ne medication bc I also take 5.5mg vicodin as well for about 6 months now and I want to know what the tramadol withdrawls are like and if I would need something from my Dr to reduce the withdrawals... I am currently on what my doctor calls a "pain management" plan since nothing else has worked. I take Vicodin 7.5/325 which right now is to be my at-home-pain-reliever. I was prescribed tramadol 50mg previously to take during the day and it was awesome! No pain, alert and able to work. But good feelings faded and became nothing. Now my doc had me on the same Vicodin. And I take Tramadol 50mg. (1-2 every six hours as needed, max 6 per day - Same as Vicodin) and Tylenol 3 (300/30mg) 1-2 twice daily. It is a narcotic type pain medication and WILL show up on a drug scan as such. If you have been legitimately prescribed the medication, inform your employer, case worker, etc and be prepared to provide your Dr's information. I take two 50mg tramadol tablets twice a day and one 150mg dose at night on prescription. I went to Spain last year and experienced no problems there. Should I still be worried? I take a copy of my prescription with me just in case, but do I need to anything else before I go on Tuesday? ## Dave, Traveling with medication can be tricky. Unfortunately I do not know all of the illegal substances in each country, however, you can always call the embassy and ask them if the drug you are bringing is allowed. Make sure to let them know the dosage of your medication as some countries only allow a certain amount of a particular active ingredient. Some other good rules of thumb is to clearly label the medication and have proper documentation for it at all times. Have a great vacation.

I am having severe tooth pain on left upper molar. inside of mouth is swollen, gum swollen, left side of face swollen, tooth feels slightly loose. I consume marijuana off and on. I am getting ready to look for a job after the new year. I was taken to the ER by ambulance this week because I had a seizure and fell, hitting my head on concrete & was unconscious for about 10 min. Luckily I was in our parking lot & someone witnessed the whole event, so I got help right away! When I came to I had no idea where I was (I thought I was in our living room even tho I was actually laying outside in 4in of fresh snow & it was raining).
