Hi, so here is what is going on. I was diagnosed with Myofascial pain disorder when I was 23, brought on by trauma from martial arts (they suspect) I have been taking 100 mg of tramadol per day for 8 years, so 2 tablets a day. The pain causes chronic insomnia and depression, so Recently I saw a psychiatrist who prescribed me zolpidem for sleep. My primary prescribes tramadol. I have never had any issues until this week. I submitted my tramadol to be called to doctor for approval. In 8 years, it's always approved within a day. It's been a week, and the pharmacy claims they haven't heard from the doctor. I am worried I've been red flagged since I didn't tell my primary I am taking zolpidem. Not to be shady, just didn't think to. I'm afraid to call the doctor. H...

Found oval white pill. 4 on one side. G1 or 61 on the other side. Looks little bigger than a tramadol oval 50mg. What is this pill I found in my daughter's room? ## Hello, Anna! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Glenmark Generics and they list it as containing 4mgs of Ondansetron. This medication is most commonly used to treat or prevent nausea and vomiting. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is this pill anything like lowertabs ## Hello, Peanut! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Northstar RX and they list it as containing 50mgs of Tramadol. The FDA classifies this medication as an opioid, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, it is weak in relation to the Hydrocodone in Lortab. Is there anything else I can help with?

Did they charge the ingredients in tramadol or just the way it's scheduled and perscribed? ## Tramadol is the active ingredient, so that hasn't changed, just the scheduling and prescribing. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

She just got her tooth pulled and ut hurts really bad ## Hello, Arlene! How is your daughter doing? She can take, if it's been prescribed for her, but shouldn't be given to her otherwise. The FDA classifies this medication as an opioid, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If it wasn't prescribed for her, you should consult her dentist or doctor regarding what she can take. Ibuprofen or Tylenol may help. Holding ice against that area can also ease the soreness. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi; I am taking highblood pressure medicine, Lisnopril-htcz 20/25mg tab and amlodipine Besylate 5mg table. I am taking a blood-thinner called Clopidogrel bisulfate (Plavix oral) 75mg, I also have a vitamin d deficiency so I am taking vit d 50,000 iu d2 (ergo) caps (RX). Can these medicine be taken with Tramadol, and Hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-500 mg tablet. I am also a predibetic. ## Hi Victoria, It looks like you posted your question twice within the same paragraph. However from what I could gather, there are a couple serious drug interactions that you should be aware of. The first being between the Hydrocodone and Tramadol combination. Using these two drugs together may increase your risk of seizures, breathing problems, as well as other dangerous side effects. The other interaction ...

can I take Tramadol for hemrroid pain? ## A systemic medication isn't really going to help much. The FDA classifies Tramadol as an opiate analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Hemorrhoids tend to be more on the surface and hurt due to being rubbed by your underwear, toilet paper, slacks and etc. Thus, a topical pain reliever usually helps more, such as Preparation H. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including skin redness and irritation at the application site. Have you consulted your doctor? They should be able to let you know what would be safest for you to try.

Tramidol pain relief 180tabs 50mg ## Hello, Phoebe! How are you? I'm sorry, but this website does not manufacture, prescribe, nor sell any medications or products. It is an information only resource. The FDA classifies Tramadol as an opioid, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Thus, it also requires a doctor's prescription. Do you have a PCP that may be able to help?

Can you please tell me what type of medicine is closest to tramadol. I take 50mg 6x daily. Was wondering if anyone knew what type of medicine to use to help with withdrawals. Thanks. ## Hello, Abby! How are you? Have you discussed stopping it with your doctor? Tramadol is classified by the FDA as an opiate, so there isn't anything available over the counter that you'll be able to use to do much towards mitigating the withdrawal symptoms. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Does anyone have any advice to offer?

So I had taken tramadol a couple times in the past. I started out taking 6 pills at 50 mg each. The second time I did it I took 6 as well and my tolerance had already built up on them and they did next to nothing. A few days later I decided to up my dosage to 8 pills or 400mg along with about 1 1/2 beers. I got home that night and went to bed around midnight feeling pretty medicated. I woke up at 2:30am covered in vomit surrounded by paramedics wondering what the f*** just happened. Turns out I had a seizure and was throwing up the nastiest brown colored vomit I've ever seen. So they took me to the hospital and they did several tests, I never told them I OD'ed. While there I had serious back pain and after I got released I had some X-rays done, and from the seizure I had a compr...

Tell me what to do to get off tramadol ## Hello, Lisa! How are you? How long have you been taking it and what is your dosage? The best method to use can vary, depending on those factors. For instance, if you've only been on it for a few weeks, you may be able to just stop, without any major issues. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you discussed it with your doctor?

Is cymbalta the same as tramadol? ## Hello, Pamela! How are you? No, they are not the same, at all. Cymbalta contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, the FDA classifies it as an SSNRI antidepressant, though it does help some people with anxiety and nerve pain. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes. However, Tramadol is an analgesic. The FDA classifies it as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
