Once a medication is available to be made a generic, it is allowed to differ, in the active ingredient, from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20%. The FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window. The problem that you can run into, of course, is that generics do not have to measure against each other, just against the name brand. This is a salmon pinkish round pill with no markings or lines on either side. My prescription was filled in mexico and they are supposed to be tramadol 100mg. What is the color for 37.5-325? ## My Mother (Yes, it's Mother's Day) was taking Tramadol APAP, 37.5 mg, for many months with apparently good results. I took tramadol x 225mg for the last 2 weeks. One of my friends said that this tablet was good for clu. I stopped taking it after 2 weeks and I'm totally abnormal with pain all over my body (inside). I am a 73 year old male in otherwise good health. I'm taking Tramahexl 100mg +2 Panados for relief from very severe lower back pain coupled with abdominal pain, but the pain is constant and I cannot endure the chronic pain at times. Please, can someone advise? I used to take a drug called Jurnista (synthetic morphine) which did not help. You should consult with your doctor to see if it is OK because everyone is different. That said: so long as you stick to the prescribed dosage of each, you *should* be OK. Are there any other medications you are currently taking, including over the counter medications or herbal medicine? I found this drug to be very helpful with easing pain, no sedating effect, BUT after taking this medication discovered I was unable to acheive orgasm. It took me a while to figure out it was the Tramadol causing the problem. ## I have been taking Tramadol for about 5 years for back pain. Is there a danger or possible side effects of combining Tramadol (Qlodo) and Lortab? ## The main issue that occurs when taking them both together is compounding of some of the the side effects, such as dizziness, drowsiness, sedation, lowered heart rate, and lowered blood pressure.
