How does one know what a quarter of the Tramadol tablet is? It was prescribed for my dog by his vet but the pills are not scored. I am to give 1/4 of a tablet yo my dog every 8 hours. But b/c the tablet is not scored how to I know how much of the tablet is 1/4??? I asked the pharmacist but he was of no help.
Please can the original poster or anyone else be able to confirm what she wrote about is xanax OK with tramadol? I have excruciating pain ruined my health for the last year and I've needed to take pain meds. This includes tramadol, codeine (useless), ibuprofen, diazepam and xanax. The tramadol quick release 100 mg is just a white dome shaped chalky tasting. Can anyone please help before it's too late?

Sorry to hear about your pain. Unfortunately it is not safe to take Alprazolam and Tramadol together. Both are central nervous system depressants. Taking them at the same time can cause respiratory distress, or even coma.
