Does anyone know of a pharmacy with tramadol available? I tried ordering it but everyine keeps telling me its out of stock and not available until after the holidays. I run out of my rx today and can't wait until after the holidays so any help is appreciate it.

Hi Roy I'd be happy to share- was just curious as the posts do not seem to be shown as quickly as they were before-I too have been greatly affected-fortunate not to have run out or have ever suffered any withdrawal- been on tramadol for 2 years-for knee replacements(one of which went horribly wrong)and also for chronic arthritis pain-and I limit myself to 3-some days 4 a day-but I am so furious and frustrated with the ridiculous obscene costs we are all now having to pay-156.95 for 120 pills?We are all so being taken advantage of-I'm fearful that we will all be shut off some day from purchasing this much-needed drug that brings so many of us relief from constant pain- I feel for everyone suffering out there and I wish there was something we could all do-My thoughts and heart go out to everyone who so desperately need this drug to be free of pain

I don't understand what the problem is. I ordered yesterday and it will be here today. I just tracked it with post office. I may only be getting 90 instead of the 180 but it's better than nothing.

SG How much was it for the 90? Health Pharmacy Online also delivers next day and it was 156.95 for 120 COD

I was able to get hold of Rich it took about four days for him to respond and he isn't shipping overnight he is using priority mail instead. I received my order Friday.

Porkie it is because New York scheduled tramadol last month. I dont think any pharmacies can send to New York now.

Let's all get off the tramadol. After a "honeymoon" with Steve, he now calls me every few days and says the price is going up. It's already gone up fifteen dollars in three weeks. Sometimes I get so tired of feeling like a slave to this- yes I have pain, but honestly- can you ONLY take this when you have pain? No, you can't because of the horrible withdrawal you have -even taking the prescribed amount(less than 8 per day).....c'mon
- there has to be a few others that want off..

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but: I work in a hospital and today I spoke with the doc that runs the pharmacy. I asked him about the Tramadol situation. He told me that pretty soon ALL states will list Tramadol as a schedule III drug. He said that it is because "unscrupulous people" (his words) are buying Tramadol in large quantites and have discovered a way to cook down the ingredients to form a very potent synthetic narcotic for street sale. I was surprised somewhat to hear this as I have read and heard nothing about this at all before today. Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough. This doc is a very educated man and I trust him, so I have to believe what he said.

This is just another case of when the druggie scum ruin things for those of us who are in chronic pain, through no fault of our own. I am sick of hearing about all the people who are hassled when they need meds for their pain because of all those people who abuse drugs.

Huh? Tramadol can't be "cooked down" to create a more potent narcotic. It doesn't share chemistry with any narcotics. You can only "cook down" a drug with a modified opiate base. The doctor you talked to must be thinking of another drug. I'm a med student and biochemist and don't know if a possible way this could be done. I've also researched tramadol in particular to death and can't think of a conceivable way this could be achieved.
