UpdatedDoes anyone know of a pharmacy with tramadol available? I tried ordering it but everyine keeps telling me its out of stock and not available until after the holidays. I run out of my rx today and can't wait until after the holidays so any help is appreciate it.
Can i get steves # again plz
The last is --- they are all there, just put them together and he only takes cod and mention my name to him. Hope this helps you
Brandy all the #;s are there, I hope you can figure it out, and what were they saying about tramadol becoming a controlled substance? What state is that? It is funny because I have taken medicine called soma for years and this year it bacame a controlled substance, what makes this happen?
TY HUN...
I think there just going to stop mailing to NY... there not going to make it NARCOTIC
Thank you Maureen, got it. Just say Im looking for Steve and why im calling? I hope I'm not bothering them. Fingers crossed.
Yes you might have to leave him a message, and if you say my name that would be good, and he does 180 He is a doll,, very nice guy I think he is Indian :) What is the difference between controlled substance and a narcotic, I don't get it. Tramadol doesn't make you high, thats why I don't understand the big deal. But Kim 30 a day I hope you have a good job LOL, what does it do to make you take so many?
Wow the board is being kind to me tonight it hasn't stopped any of my post yet LOL.
Can someone please explain this to me controlled substance vs. narcotic, what is the difference? And why are they making tramadol a controlled substance
If it geys scheduled you will have to go to a private doctor and he would have to prescribe it to you to be able to get it. You would also be entered in to the drug monitoring thing and they would always know where and who you got tramadol from so you can't doctor shop and get more than prescribed.
And sorry about my typos, I was rushing...
Kim- I'm taking around the same amount as you. Did you run out or get to critical level during the holidays? If so, how did you get through it? I have tried almost every medicine for fibromyalgia, and this is what works (along with naproxen, melatonin, and a few other nutritional supplements) I'm reluctantly trying Savella, hoping it works- trying to maintain 4 sources is getting really difficult, esp. if there are impending changes in the laws...
Hi, I have been following here for a little bit and have been greatly helped by people's advice. I live in Austin Tx and feel I have just gotten screwed by Rich. I ordered from him a couple of times and had no trouble. The most recent time however instead of receiving my usually confirmation, trk # etc. I got a call from someone asking a bunch of questions and saying that they are only giving me 90 for what Rich originally charged 180... Aagggghhh. I am screwed and already going through withdrawals because I didn't find this out till 3 days after I thought I had placed my order. And they are not even suppose to come for a couple of more days!!. If anyone could help, point me in the right direction, even if someone in the area might be generous enough to spare a few for me I would GREATLY appreciate it... Sorry
@ AuMuse- I went through a very rapid and ugly decrease in dose a few weeks ago and this is what helped me (at least to be able to get to work etc.) Besides tapering, I started taking loperimide a few times per day. There are several articles online as far as why this alleviates so symptoms- not just the GI ones- something about opiate receptors. Naproxen max dose a few times per day and Glucosamine Chondroitin all helped the aches and pains. The insomnia was tough. I found that benedryl liquid worked ok- still a little hungover, but in light of the extreme circumstances... Now this one is bizarre- atomic fireballs. There is some evidence that the capsaicin in spicy things enhances our natural endorphins. I don't know if that is a bunch of horsecrap, maybe it just distracts you from pill shortage, but I swear it helped me (and thai food every day) There is a number posted using symbols-look at the keyboard- for someone that several have had some success with. If it's gone- let me know and I will repost it. That crap you mention about getting the order late and/or running out is unfortunately a regular part of my life...
Thank you SO much... If you could repost the symbols that would be awesome as well. Thanks.
I started taking this when I was 34. My kids were younger at the time. I was just diagnosed with fibromyalgia and I had to go through Many doctors to get any help. One of the "specialists" had a long month wait for an appointment. Once I finally got in, he put me on amitriptaline and told me it would take 8 weeks to work! Amitriptaline?! are you kidding me?! Of course it didn't work and it left me in a stupor. I had to wait another 5 weeks to get back in. By then I had read about all the bizzare treatments like colonics, guifenesin, and a bunch of other nonsense. I asked him to put me on tramadol and he agrred. In fact he was thrilled that I was not asking for percocet. After taking it, eating and sleeping well, giving up cigarettes, I felt much better and am not in pain all the time. It's been 7 years, and now that there are all these laws cracking down on everything, I'm a little worried. I hope you can put it all together and get something from my history. there is an article on wikihow- i think its something like how to endure opiate withdrawl- good tips in there too. Also, Maureen has some good info too. It is always good to mention her name.
What is this drug thing that they will know about when you get tramadol? I don't understand that. If you go to a pharmaccy with insurance I can see them tracking you but what if you pay cash? I do that sometimes I have a pharmacy that doesn't have my insurance info and I pay cash. Then I have my regular pharmacy. that has my insurance info. I can't see them knowing unless you use insurance.
Maureen, if you google "drug monitoring" and then go to dea diversion - I think it comes up second, there is a description of how it works. There is a lot of other info there to that may pertain to online pharmacy users (or other non-brick and mortar pharmacies). What is described there will definitely knock out doctor shoppers- not sure how or when it will affect us...
I had a fall on a cruise ship in 2007 and had a cervical fusion, but have had a lot of pain in my lower back all the way down to my feet. I was convinced there was a major problem I had a MRI and it just shows some degenerative problems, so when I wake up in the morning I have problems gettin up, I take tramadol, soma and neurontin, together they work but not alone, I have to take all of them all the time. but I seem to run out of my tramadol early every month. I think that I must have fibromyalga because the MRI didn't show anything major
Maureen- it could be fibro. have you done any research? Besides pain, FMS has other symptoms. For me, the "fibro-fog" is the most disabling- as far as working/competing in the world. All the sensory issues are just annoying- sensitivity to noise. smell, movement. FMS really does make you feel like an effing lunatic at times. Most of the meds that have proved useful for FMS have side effects I cannot live with- neurontin- works beautifully, but the weight gain and the increased forgetfulness & brain farts. Lyrica- I would literally stare at a sock and not remember what to do with it, or approach a red light and think" i know i'm supposed to do something here- what is it?" and the hand/foot swelling. The worst is the SSRIs. they have the worst side effect for women- you cannot have an orgasm with a partner, with yourself, or even in a dream- it doesn't matter, and I just can't live with that. When I was first diagnosed, that was the first thing they told me- do it as much as possible for the endorphin release and the improved sleep. I'm not a doctor, from what I've read, tramadol works similar to the SSRIs, but doesn't cause the same effects- probably due to half life, onset, peak, and all that crap-I'm not sure.. I am sure that tramadol works pretty well, but it is not easy to find a doc that will write for 180+ per month as a regular medicine. As many know, you can't take this "as needed". If you take eight everyday for a month, your body wants eight. try to go to 6, and the body protests.. I won't even tell you how bad it is when you take way more than eight, or what it's like when it's been been several years and not just a month or so. It's so frustrating. It has caused me to turn to the online pharmacies- even though the cost of the med is more per se, I don't have to go to the doc, and I know I am walking away with what I want ans not just sitting in a room with a bunch of coughing and sneezing people only to come away with a script for diclofenac (arthritis med) Anyhow, I hope I can help someone- esp the numbers in {edited for privacy}. I havent used them, but it seems like several have had success.. It may help if you add the other info. take care everyone. being uncomfortable and in pain sucks, and it's nice to know I'm not alone...
@ AuMuse- how are you? any success?
