Tramadol Shortage (Page 16) (Top voted first)

Does anyone know of a pharmacy with tramadol available? I tried ordering it but everyine keeps telling me its out of stock and not available until after the holidays. I run out of my rx today and can't wait until after the holidays so any help is appreciate it.

What did you find out about what happened in PA? I keep getting conflicting info about that and about every other reason people are giving as to why ordering fell apart. I did, buy the way, get my shipment today and know two people who are receiving shipments tomorrow (confirmed with USPS - the pkgs are on the way) so I just keep hoping things are easing up.

I had rxpayouts come through with 180. Took forever to get! But I was also told they were shut down so I don't know how it came through. Health solutions network also came through, but again took forever. They even called me and said they could only fill 90 but i still got 180! I hope this helps! Oh and none were more than 130 dollars

I always put the names of my pharmacy's and they never flag mine. All they ones I placed before christmas was in the Hellertown Pa. thing so I doubt I will ever get those.

The same thing happened to me as Gat. I had placed five separate orders at varying sources as I was desparate to get something. Sick over christmas and after christmas, they all came at once. im wondering what will happen when i finally need to order again. I will probably stick with the international pharmacy that comes through with good meds and Great prices.

Ditto @ GAT and a couple others for both old orders all coming in at once and getting flagged for trying to post which sites I knew were now shipping. The flagged post was also asking if anyone knew the real story about what happened to the big PA pharmacies (nearly all my orders were filled by PA pharms) as I kept getting conflicting info on the subject. Obviously what really happened will have everything to do with when and if things will get back to normal.

All I know is there was a big Internet thing in Hellertown Pa. And you can find it by Googling it. It just seems to me that things I thought were completly legal aren't. I thought is was ok to get an online prescription if you filled in the info. but according to the things about Hellertown Pa I have learned a lot.

I did Google the story and read several articles about two particular Pharmacies in PA - Where the story started getting cloudy and conflicting was in trying to find out whether or not this was a singular indictment on just the pharmacies listed in the reports or was it (or will it be) a broad indictment for all such pharms and connected websites, etc in PA. In other words, were those mentioned in the articles merely the first to go down? I live clear across the country, but I have noticed that nearly everything I receive is shipped from PA. If they are going after everything there it will affect even far more people and for a far longer time. As far as legality goes I believe it would have to do with the specific language of a state's laws as to what constitutes a valid Dr. patient relationship and how the courts choose to interpret that language. Obviously the powers that be, thought they had a good chance in PA to get the courts to rule that the Dr./pt affiliation in those cases was not enough to legally provide prescriptions. I don't really think they have much concern for what the patients think, never mind that they are half the relationship and the half that actually receives the treatment as well. I would actually like to choose for myself what kind of relationship I have with my medical provider and whether or not I am satisfied with the treatment I am receiving. I don't feel it should be the decision of a government in a state where I do not even live. There has been no consideration of the fact that they are directly affecting people who have no power to vote, petition, etc as to the policies enacted, because they live elsewhere. These matters have been widely considered in other instances involving interstate commerce and law - not to say that precedence has been routinely favorable, but the matter should not be just completely ignored. In addition, this was not a case where patients were being deceived nor was anyone being defrauded. All parties to the medical care were fully informed and in agreement as to the resulting treatment. I fully believe that in this case, the right to access and receive health care in the manner of one's choosing belongs to the individual and not to any government.

I agree Ronnie, I live in Pa. near Hellertown. and when I google that it brings up a lot of things including news reports about the FBI removing computers it is a lot bigger than we know it is supposededly a multimillion dollar thing and these pharmasist and doctors will be indicted. Most of the things we order are from right here in Pa. so I hope your right and everything gets back to normal I can't afford these inflated prices

I have been getting some that have been filled in Mobile, AL and some from FL. I am definitely going to start cutting way back on my consumption as best I can. Way too expensive and I don't want to ever go through a week like this past one again. My stuff is coming through now - all hitting at once. Problem with getting off is that, even though we can cut way down, that final hump of going without totally is going to be VERY difficult, due to the risk of seizure. Will probably have to get down to 3 or 4 per 24 hrs and maintain that for a long time. Then will finally be ready to try, with help of MD, to kick it altogether. Can't just stop cold turkey without terrible suffering and health risks. I like most, like it because it treats pain, acts as anti-depressant and doesn't fog thinking or make me feel goofy.

So I thought it was legal to buy tramadol online without a prescription as long it wasnt a controlled substance in your state? Anyone have any info on that?

This is insane... I am NOT violating any of your rules when I simply tell people to list the pharmacy and remove the dot com or whatever at the end of it! How on earth could I possibly be a pharmacy employee by putting this on.

My prior post containing that information, and that information only was removed ... and in all your wisdom you'll probably remove this one also.

RONNI: You are 100% right... the government is once again overstepping it's bounds. Personally, I believe all this mess was caused by the government officials in confunction with the big drug companies ... SOMEONE is looking to make a profit somehow or this would never have happened. The government never does ANYTHING unless there's a politician behind it and money to be found.

OK, So maybe th'e "All Powerful Moderators" can jump in here. I don't understand this whole Drug bust thing. I honestly thought the way we have been ordering our Medicine was completely OK, The prices were pretty competitive accross the Board. And I thought the reason why it was coming to around $100 for 180 Tramadol was because we had a Doctor's Consult with it. There is a pretty extensive form to fill out. Now without warning they just stopped all of it and left us all literally up a creek without a paddle. We can order from overseas with a long wait and us not really knowing if this medicine is safe. What are they trying to do to us? Hopefully they don't stop this one.

This is bizarre. My 8 yr. old 19# Silky Terrier is on 50-75 mg of Tramadol per day. I have no problems buying these for her at the local Kroger pharmacy (no shortages noted) each month. I am surprised they will give medication needed so much by a human to a pet. Of course, she is now pain free. I feel so bad for those suffering.
