Tramadol Shortage (Page 12) (Top voted first)

Does anyone know of a pharmacy with tramadol available? I tried ordering it but everyine keeps telling me its out of stock and not available until after the holidays. I run out of my rx today and can't wait until after the holidays so any help is appreciate it.

Sara I don't think you should be here to Judge, you must be running low on a med to have found this site. I have a Doctor and they prescribe me medication but I need more, pure and simple. I have the money and I go through the online doctor and get what I need. If you don't have something nice to say then don't speak at all.

My sister lives in NY and is trying to get me some stuff for pain, this is friggen crazy. I am supposed to get my order tomorrow by 3 I hope it gets here I have never ordered COD before. I got the money order ready

All the sites I have seen are now only offering 90 count rx. But they are charging almost the same as the 180 count and who know when you will get them. I had problems getting my last order early in December I guess that was only the beginning of the "supply problem" I have enough to last till Friday. Guess I need to have a talk with my PCP.

Dear heart my husband was majorly injured in a car accident. Blew out his back in several places. He was on 240 #30mg roxies, 120 #10 methadone, 90 soma, 90 #1 Xanax a month. It's a cycle it control the pain. And it's not to be messed with by someone who doesn't know what they are doing. Stress cause muscles to tighten, in turn causes inflammation. They all mix together. And being on those types of meds builds up your body's tolerance for the meds causing the need for even more meds. Then at some point your body has heald it's self and you can't even realize that has happened. My husband has been off all of the meds for over five years now. He has learned what causes the pain and handles it correctly. He is permentlly disabled. Not allowed to lift anything over 10lbs no sitting or standing for more than 20 mins at a time. I see the vicous cycle you are in every day and where it is going to take you in the future. I am a well educated woman I'm not stupid. Seek the help that is really going to work. Stop playing dr. You don't know what you're doing to yourselves.

I lost my job of 14 years in 2009 and wasn't able to draw unemployment. I made an early withdrawal of my 457 k retirement to pay mortgage and bills. No jobs could be found at that time. Then in April of 2010 I fell off a ladder and it resulted in a comminuted calcaneal fracture. As bad as it could be. Needed surgery but no insurance. Hydrocodone, physical therapy and special orthotics helped me to sokewhat recover. I got off the hydrocodone and 11 months after the accident I went to work for a oil well service company working 12 to 16 hours a day 6 days a week. All on my feet. There's no way I could get through those long days on my feet without the 12 Ibuprofen and 6 tramadol I take everyday. And I have to work because at 52 years of age, and nearly spending all my retirement money, I have to be able to work this job. Tramadol has helped me with my pain. And now I can't get it. Plus I will go through withdrawals. I don't know.what to do????

Sara, I don't know how you found this site unless you were looking up tramadol shortage, I too am disabled I fell on a Cruise ship in 2007 and had to have a cervical fusion, my lower back and legs are always in pain, but I am not sure I want another surgery. I was at one point on 12-14 percacets a day and that was for over a year. Then the doctor suggested tramadol. It seemed to work without feeling drowsy. I am also on Soma and Neurontin. And hopefully I will be on them forever. No body is playing Doctor the Health website has a doctor that looks over your questionere. Even though some people think it is a Narcotic but it is actually a opiod antagonist. and if you don't know what that is look it up. Tramadol is a miracle drug in my opion because it gets rid of your pain without making you high.

well said maureen. I too look to it as a wonder drug as I suffer with pain everyday (need knee replacement but no insurance). I wont say Im not addicted to tramadol but i will admit that life is difficult without it. Those that judge others do it to make themselves feel confident and worthy. This forum is no place for judging-should only be used for supporting.

Yeah but if we are addicted it is to something that doesn't make you act any different or nod out or smell like a brewery. When I don't have tramadol left I make sure I take neurontin around the clock because it is anti seizure. And that is the one thing that scares me. But I ordered from Health and it is supposed to be here tomorrow before 3. I will let everyone know what happened. take care :)

Something weird...I ordered from rxordernet on 12/30 and the page it says it was cancelled yet my card was charged today. I spoke with the processing center and they gave me a tracking number. I checked it with USPS and it should be here by 3pm today. I'm not sure what I am getting, but I hope it's what I ordered. I will keep you all posted.

Just got my order from the ups man about an hour ago, Kathy's suggestion is definitely legit! Health Pharmacy Online works! Also, I am not sure if this has been covered but I also received an order from a health solutions network website, webmedsnow. Those are two places I just received orders from today after ordering yesterday. I am glad to know I am not alone in this and I wish you all the best of luck.

Toll Free rx solutions is the one i am talking about... they DEMAND THE NUMBER OF THE LAST DOC YOU HAVE SEEN... no matter what,, they want to talk to dr.. so at that point ill go to the doc.

That is great, it probably is what you ordered you must be excited. I have to slow down on mine. I have been averaging like over 20 a day. I got 180 on the 4th. from my doctor and I have like 60 left. That is not good. I have a COD coming today.I hope this one comes.

Good luck Maureen. I ordered 90 and got them last week. I usually take 2 or 3 three times a day. Have cut back so I am going to use this to ween off. I don't want to take them anymore. Been using them for lower back pain for almost 10 years. I wasn't even concerned because Dr's said they are harmless. Didn't realize there were issues until I moved back to CT and tried to get a prescription. Dr's up here who actually started me on them said that they don't like to prescribe because of them being addictive. I was shocked. I stopped taking them and I couldn't believe what happened and my back pain came back two fold. I found you could order online, so I started ordering. Over the past two years I've run into the "shortage" thing about every 6 months. I can't wait to be off these pills but I've been on them so long that I'm afraid that I will not know who I am. Well keep the faith and I totally get what everyone is going through. I too sometimes think it is a miracle drug because I don't get the adverse effects of the Vic's and Perc's. I hate how I feel on them. With these I can function like a normal person and feel like I did before I injured my back. Funny thing though...When I did take Vic's and Perc's for this, I never had an issue stopping. I don't know..It's a little scary.

Maureen, I take almost 20 a day myself. Definitely not good. I have been on them for 10 yrs or so now. But I think this has been a more widespread shortage than what happened before. I was so glad to find this site and see I wasn't alone in searching and not finding anything. Alot of these sites are connected to each other, even ones with different phone no's have the same company and will cancel out an order if you already have an order with a different site of theirs. That could be why you got cancelled. Not for what you put on the form , because I have basically the same on my form. Last week I got my refill but I am still seeing other people having problems and I am worried already about what will happen when I need mine refilled again! Pretty scary! Don't let judgmental people bother you, some people believe they are the only ones to experience pain!
