You may be having a rebound effect from the medication. What type of headaches do you have? Tension, migraine, blood pressure related, there are so many factors that you didn't mention. Is your pain management Dr. a Neurologist? I'd like to guide you in the correct direction but need to know more.

Tramadol hcl 50mg is an outstanding pain reliever, which falls under the category of narcotic analgesics. It is available online in the form of capsules which gives the benefit of fast onset of action. It is used to combat moderate to severe pain. You should ALWAYS use the same Pharmacy for all of your medications even the over the counter meds. Physicians prescribe, HOWEVER, They often make mistakes. I am a Nurse Practitioner. I ALWAYS, always, trust my Pharmacist. HE/SHE, are the ones who specialize in contraindications, interactions, allergies, etc.... NEVER, ASK THE DOCTOR. TRUST THE PHARMACIST ONLY, oh, and make sure to ask to speak to the Pharmacist ONLY, not the pharmacy tech, or the Pharmacy intern. SPEAK TO THE PHARMACIST ONLY.

I get headaches every day. The Dr. prescribed 25ng morphine 3xday. It seems to make my headache worse. I'm seeing a new pain specialist tomorrow,and would like to be on Tramodol prn-works for my brother. I also have moderate spinal stenosis. Is this worth a try?

I have Tramadol 50mg-generic for ultram 50mg tablets. Dose is 1 tablet every 6 hours. I do not see the hcl that is mentioned in most of the other posts. Is my Tramadol different from the hcl Tramadol? My tablet has 319 on the pill. One tablet doesn't help my Arthritis & Scoliosis, can I take two tablets at a time? .

I agree.. I took myself off the 50mg of tramadol and now take 2 NT Advil 2 hours before bed time. I use some ice packs on my wound during the day and get by OK. I felt awful on tramadol and don't want to go through the withdrawal again. I was flopping around in bed like a fish out of the water.

I have a condition called Meralgia Paresthetica and have been taking hydromorphone for at least 2 and a half years. The pills no longer work so my Dr.
prescribed tramadol hcl 50 mg. Is this pill a narcotic also ?

You might want to have your liver checked.If your stomach is swollen,that is not a good sigh and we all know that our Liver filters toxins in our Body!! I'm considering a total detox of the body!! I think we all know how easy it is to get drugs from the Doctors,without fixing the actual problem!!! Not all,But Most!! Sorry to hear your Problems and I will pray for you,God Bless!!!

Please quit taking those killer pills. Read the book "mood cures" by Julie Ross... I have read it and plan to apply some of its suggestions. Mostly because I've seen my daughter get fantastic results.. I'm not trying to sell anything...it's a very good book.

I have RA an OA and high blood pressure, thyroid problem,some stomache problems.an hot flashes.Im 58.they gave me tramadol 6months or more ago...I've been having headaches, dizziness, and hearind voices...great huh.I was taking 4 a day,my doctor changed it to 2, now I have crying spells,don't sleep good.an my husband left an were divorced. So I'm not happy...go figure.and I had to leave work early on Saturday which is ot.

I just had my Tramadol HCL 50MG refilled and instead of getting the white round tabs the pharmacy gave me football shaped white tabswith #58 on one side and TY on other side. The label says round so I'm wondering if I got the wrong pills!! Anyone else ever get these for the Tramadols?
