Tramadol And Ephedrine

I take bronkaid in the morning or early afternoon before working out, as it helps with my asthma. It contains 25 mg ephedrine. Is it risky to take tramadol in the evenings on the same days? I called six pharmacies, and all said it wouldn't be an issue, but I'm still nervous about ephedrine being a stimulant and mixing it with tramadol, and that they both can affect seratonin.

I understand your concern and it is a valid one, actually. It isn't that they can't be used together, but you should be warned that it can increase the risk of seizures, when you use them both, because Ephedrine lowers the possible seizure threshold in some people.

This means you need to know to watch for any warning signs of them and, if you experience them, you should contact your doctor or get emergency care immediately.
