I am trying to locate this drug for my dog. It is so expensive at the vet's office.

Does your vet not offer any sort of patient assistance program or payment installments that can help ease the cost?

If there's no hope there, I would suggest checking with your local pharmacy to see what they could do for you. You may be pleasantly surprised if they offer it for much less somewhere else, but the only find out is to give it a try. Usually vet offices charge an arm and a leg because the medication is pet specific, while your local CVS might have the same drug in a different brand name for far less.
