Toprol Xl Brand Name From Astrazeneca

I've been getting the brand name AstraZeneca for years. Today pharmacist told me they don't make it anymore. I think he is mistaken. He still charged me more for it, but it was a different brand than AstraZeneca. Anyone have info? I can't tolerate the generics and gladly pay the extra to get the brand name.

As you can see here it is still available.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

What teresazu stated is correct, though overall, it is still manufactured by AstraZeneca.

was concerned about a change, my system is sensitive so once I find what works, if brand switches it effects me. good to know it's still manufactured by the original AstraZeneca. I understand alot of people can't tolerate generic Metoprolol, in fact for some it makes them worse.
