Took Torchnil Tablets During First Trimester Of Pregnancy

I had Miscarriage before 4 months due to Rubella infection. I am taking TorchNil tables twice a day from last 3 months. Just i got to know that I am 5 weeks pregnant. It means that i was taking TorchNil tables when i was 1 month pregnant. Is there any side effect of taking TorchNil tables during first trimester of pregnancy?

I am feeling so afraid now.. and i am more caring about my child... this thing should not affect my child... Please suggest....

Torchnil is not a medication, it is a natural ayurvedic product, thus, it has not been tested for safety during pregnancy.

Have you consulted your doctor?

They should be able to do an exam and let you know if everything is okay.

During the pregnanancy increase rubbella and CMV virus and suggest medicen take against for the same.

I had a miscarriage in the 3rd month of pregnancy due to IGG positive. In the month of December 2013.I had a course of 3 months of Trochnil and sujat. After that again i had done torch test and the result has come same as earlier. that means still i am infected with Igg positive. I want 2nd baby can i conceive again or i have to undergo some treatment please suggest i am already 36 yrs. dont want to waste time now. Need to take a 2nd chance asap. Can i Proceed to conceive

Rubella infections can cause anamoly.but active .these titres need to be checked again to c if they r rising after 3 4 weeks if no good.Many women on Torchnil and sujat have continued well till term.As it is a herbal medicine many gynaec have used it with good results.Dont panic things will go well.
