Usually, there isn't much danger from doing this occasionally, we all have our forgetful moments. The real danger would be if you did all the time, or took way more and overdosed.
However, it is always best to inform your doctor, just in case.
The FDA lists the warning signs of an overdose as possibly including nausea, severe dizziness, drowsiness, sedation, and vomiting.
