Tolvaptan For Polycystic Kidney Disease (pkd)

I also have pkd and would be interested in trying this drug. Is it being sold yet?
Tolvaptan hasn't been FDA approved yet. Phase 3 clinical trials are beginning. Check the PKD Foundation website for more info/clinical trials. The Mayo Clinic is one of several centers participating in the trial.
Also, please check the PKD charity website. Tolvaptan is marketed by Otsuka Pharmeceuticals, another possible source of info.
Yes, unfortunately, until it passes the rigorous testing for the FDA, it will not be available and you will have to stick with other treatment options.
