Tinidazole Side Effects

Hi,
I have been prescribed the drug tinidazole 2000mg as a single dose for the treatment of giardia. I took it last night with dinner. I have the bad taste in the mouth that is listed as a side effect and was just wondering how long this will last for? Any one have their own experiences with this medicine?

While the after taste that some medications, such as this, can cause is annoying, it's not generally harmful and doesn't usually last more than a day or two after dosing is finished.
