Time Between Taking Methadone And Suboxone

I have been on subutex for 2yrs but ran out a few days ago , so a friend gave me 3 old pills of methadone I been taken half a pill. My last 5 mg was 2am so I just picked up my subs I'm in some w/d can I take my subs with out getting sick??

I just want to post that I took my 8mg of subs about 10 hours after my last methadone dose and I'm toyally fine no presibW/D I might have just not at enough of the metahadone in me but just wanted to post so everyone else there knows!!

I am very happy that you've done so well. In most cases, one must be in full withdrawal, again, before restarting Suboxone.

The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

Are you still PWD free?

I took 70mg of methadone Friday morning at 530 and I have been taking suboxone since yesterday morning but I have to take 1 whole 8 when I wake up and if just barely has me feeling well. I still have cold chills but not puking but havnt been able to eat in two days. Then I have to take one at night just to sleep. Tomorrow morning at 530 will be 78 hours. I hope the methadone will be gone so the sub can do what it needs to do. What do you guys think?
