Time Of Effect Lisinopril (Top voted first)

Im wondering how long after taking the Lisinopril the effects begin, as in, when you take it, how many minutes later is it working on your system?

I have had nosebleeds after taking lisinopril for over a year i started to keep track of the nose bleeds and noticed that within 2 hrs after taking i GOT SEVERE NOSE BLEEDS I have stopped atking it and had to have my nose cauterized they got so bad that I had to go to emergancey

There's technically no right or wrong answer to this. It just depends on the individual's metabolism. Generally it could be felt anywhere from a few minutes to as long as two hours after ingestion, depending on whether or not the user took it with food or on a full stomach or on an empty stomach, etc.

Lisinopril exhibits an effective half-life of accumulation for roughly 12 hours after it's in your system.

I know this isn't a precise answer, but I hope it helps shed some light.
