Thyronorm Concern

Does a person on 25 MCG of Thyronorm often experience the side affects of weight gain and hair loss from this drug? Or...is that fairly rare? I have thin hair and weight gain already...due to my slugglish thyroid problem. I hardly want to be on medication that causes these problems to continue.

Yes, a large percentage of people do experience them, that's why they are denoted by the name 'common side effects.'

However, since it would be used to help correct your existing thyroid problem, there is a good chance it will balance out for you, rather than worse the problem.
