I need to know if taking sulfmethoxazole-tmp ds tabs with levothyroxine and xanax could show me a false positive on a swab?gwwq ## No, the Xanax should show up as a Benzodiazepine, since that's what it is, but neither the Levothyroxine, nor the antibiotic are known to cause false positives for anything. What did your swab test show?

I take .25 very low dose of synthroid. I took 3 cardispan and have been losing weight. Is this good or bad? When taken both, what does it do to the body? ## Cardispan contains the active ingredient Levocarnitine to boost metabolism, there are not interactions listed between using it with the Levothyroxine in the Synthroid, but you should check with your doctor to be certain. Using the Cardispan this way is actually not approved in the U.S., so there may be some problems that are not listed in the regular medication databases. Is there anything else I can help with?

i am on Levothyroxin 175 mcg. i had seen somewhere on the internet that this pill will deplete calcium from my bones but i can't seem to find the info any more. i want to print this out and take this to my Doctor. ## I'm not finding anything about this, either. Although what I have found states that calcium can affect the absorption of Levothyroxine, so it should not be taken within several hours of taking the medication. What has your doctor said about it?

Have been diagnosed with hypothyrodism - always tired can fall asleep anywhere, hair loss, brital nails. Dr tried synthroid, levothyroxin,levoxyl - because I have stomach ulcers after I take these for a few days I have terrible stomach pains. It takes about 3 - 4 weeks of donnatal to get my stomach back to normal. Is there anything else I can try. ## Have you tried taking anything else for the stomach issues? You may need to resolve that, so you can keep taking the necessary thyroid medication. It might be necessary to take something the night before you take your medication, or with an hour or two wait, in between. There are various products on the market to treat such issues, but you should take to your doctor to determine which one is best for you to use.

I am so confused and need help quick pretty please! My doctor wants me to take the medication to LOWER my thyroid, but in the medication description and side effects it says to take this is the thyroid is too low to get it higher so I just don't get it? The pharmacist asked me if my thyroid was too low and I said no, it is normal but too high to become pregnant safe and sound, then she said that I have the wrong medication if that is the problem and that too much can make me hyperthyroid. I'm soon to be 40 years old and as I said I am trying to get pregnant. i took levotheroxine 0.05mg cause my Hermon was 5.3 for 50 days now my exam say i am normal when i should stop take this tablet cause the doctor tell me keep take it and iam start not trust him. ## You may always need to take it to in order to control the levels of your thyroid hormones, if they are imbalanced. If they are just staying at normal levels, then that likely means that the medication is working and maintaining them there. They should check the levels every few months and adjust the medication, if needed. Have you considered getting a second opinion, if you have concerns?

Does 1mcg of Levothyroxine make a difference? 36mcg makes my TSH=1.30 and 38mcg makes my TSH=0.9 both TSH levels look acceptable but I can't feel really well. I have taken this medication for about eight weeks and have experienced some changes. First, hair loss and since I have nice hair, this is a worry. I have very little appetite and I was thin to begin with. I am 82 and wonder if these changes will persist. Also, I don't sleep well, but that is often true of aging. I would appreciate answers. I am 85 years old and have a problem with my eyes constinally tearing. I had cataracs removed last year and i thought it was to do with that But I have thouht it may be caused by my thyroid please helpztxw ## Have you consulted your doctor? Unfortunately, thee is no way for anyone to pinpoint the problem from just the brief information provided in an internet post. You should have any eye exam done to determine the problem. Are you on any medications?

My wifw SUMITA BENGERI is on Throx 50 mg since 2009 early morning empty Stomatch with plain water. My question is --Is it necessary to take Thyrox 50 Mg emty stomatch with Plain water only? Can she be given this along with Hydrixixine 250 Mg & that too with Milk or Warm Honey Water ? ## Can I take Thyrox 50 mg along with Tea / Milk/Boost or warmHoney Water? ## No! For it to be most effective all formulations of Levothyroxine should be taken on an empty stomach, with just plain water, an hour or more, before eating or drinking anything else. light blue oval small pill with T4 on one side and scored. Looks like "o" on each side of score. ## I can't find a listing that matches this description in our U.S. prescription drug databases. The T4 is the logo used on a medication called Levothroid, which contains Levothyroxine, it is used to treat Thyroid disorders. The one that comes close to this description has the T 4 on one side, separated by the score and 300 on the other. Can you please double check the imprint?

M on one side, other side scored in the middle with a 7 on each side of the score. The 7s face opposite directions (one looks upside down). ## Hi Sara, Based on the description provided, I can confirm your green oblong pill to be Levothyroxine sodium (88 mcg). NOTE: One of those 7's is actually the letter "L" which is why it appears to be upside down on one side. So the actual marking reads M L 7 (with a score mark in between the L and 7 on one side) This medicine is a hormone replacement usually given to patients with thyroid problems, specifically, hypothyroidism. Should I quit taking the levothyroxin because of heart palptations, and waking up thinking I dying. ## Have you consulted your doctor? It is difficult to know whether or not it is the medication that is causing these symptoms, there are many other things that could cause them, as well. Only your doctor will be able to help you discover what's causing the problem and arrive at a proper solution or treatment plan.

Found a small light yellow oval pill. W on one side L 8 or L B seperated by a line ## The tablet with the M L8 marking contains 1mcg of Levothyroxine, which is used to treat thyroid disorders. When I started taking Levoxyl began noises in the ears. This tablet can be the cause of tinnitus?. You can change the prescription?. ## Tinnitus is caused by increased pressure in the ear due to sodium (According to my doctor), however, I suffer from hypothyroidism and I take Levoxyl tabl .. These tablets contain sodium, which has increased my Tinnitus. What can be done to reduce this?. ## The sodium is actually just the chemical salt they are based on and Tinnitus can be caused by several different things, not just sodium. found a pill stamped JSP on one side and 195 on the other. the pill is green. I found it in my wife close and i am concerned about what it is. ## It is a 25mcg levothyroxine pill for thyroid disorders such as Hypothyroidism. ## That is correct on the pink pill with the JSP 513 marking, it does contain .025mcgs of Levothyroxine, sold under the brand name LevoTabs. Brennan, I believe you were looking at the one side of the tablet upside down, the marking is actually JSP 561 and it also contains Levothyroxine, in an 88mcg dosage. Is there anything else I can help with?
