Thyroid Armour 1gr (60mg) Pills

I am 70 yrs old and just started this pill. The Dr. said I'd lose weight & wouldn't get hot flashes anymore. Well, so far I took 2 pills one a day, and I have tiny bumps that itch like hell and a red rash, it's on one leg & swollen. Has anyone else ever had this from these pills?? He wants me to keep taking them but I don't know.

NDT like Armour contains pork thyroid
Pork is high in Lectins and also trigger histamine liberating reactions causing the rashes. Try lower Armour dosage as your current dose may be putting your body in overload

I'm sorry, I'm just now seeing this message. I figured Armour was giving me the rash, it FINALLY went away.
I'm still taking it but it does nothing. I'm at the same weight and at times gain more. I honestly do not eat much at all & I watch what it is I eat. But I can not lose weight. The Dr. said I would on this, but no.
Other meds I take are Venlafaxine, Crester, Alprazolam, & Hydrocodone for OA.
