Throat Sores

Prescribed 150mg clindamycin 4x/day for throat infection. Have taken 4 doses. See sores on the side and back of my throat. Am very concerned. Do I stop taking it.

To be honest, it is most likely that any sores you see have been caused by the infection, rather than the antibiotic that is intended to clear it up.

Have you consulted your doctor? What type of infection was it? If it was strep, it can cause those types of stores to appear.
