The Norco 10/325 Mallinckrodt Works The Best For Me!

I used to take Norco 10/325 for chronic pain by Watson, but Watson was bought out by Actavis. Wow, the difference in pain control went from 10 to zero. All Walgreens and CVS pharmacy's only carry Actavis, so I called around and finally found the generic that works even better than Watson's, and that's Mallinckrodt, at least for me. Most hospital pharmacies carry Mallinckrodt. Amneal, Qualitest and so many other manufacturers are absolute garbage! I have chronic pain from fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis in every joint in my body. I think those fake manufacturers of pain pills should be shut down.

The Mallinckrodt brand is horrible!!! Everyone is complaining that Kaiser has switched to this brand!
Can a doctor order a placebo of the medication you are prescribed?
When I told my Dr. the new Mallinckrodt norco was giving me side effects and not relieving my pain, he said something about a placebo.
That is awesome you found a pain pill that works for you!!!
I am trying still/--
Waiting to see my pain management doctor now! So going to ask about this. Thank you and ignore the negative message that was sent to you! People may be jealous or just mean. I prefer happy people and pain free!!
I think it's great you found a pain pill that works good for you !!! I wish I could !!
They aren't fake manufacturers, under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient, by as much as plus or minus 20%. The FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window and, for most people, the differences are so slight that they never notice a difference, but some people are sensitive to medications and may experience problems, where one doesn't work as well for them as one from a different manufacturer.
The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
It really just depends on what works for you and how sensitive your body is to the fluctuations.
Have you found any others that work for you?
