The Fda And Adderall

It is time for the FDA (the US. Government ) to take action on requiring Pharma companies (manufacturers) to set standards for all Adderall brand medications. it is absolutely impossible to determine who makes the real pill and the contents of the medication. I have been misled (lied to) by several pharmacists. Many patients complain about the effects of one brand or another. Suffering from ADHD and its other cousins is painful enough. Most medications are required to provide every aspect of the contents and efficacy. Enough is enough. Patients lives are affected.
Contact your Congressman or the FDA. The time has come for the truth.

I think I got adhd I can't sleep at night my mind is going a hundred miles per hour I can't contradict my mind can't stay one one thing I wish I could find a doctor would help me it would make be more focused

I don't blame anyone for feeling frustrated about inconsistencies with their medication. However, one important step patients can take to help ensure they receive a particular manufacturer's brand (one that works best for you - determined through previous trial and error) is to have your doctor specifically write that manufacturer's name on the prescription. Perhaps even including a short note indicating why (i.e. due to the presence of certain fillers affecting absorption, etc). If a doctor truly cares about his patient(s) then he/she should take a brief moment out of their precious time to do this; depending on how you present your case.

And to post #1 (Terry) - If you "think you have adhd" but don't know for sure, then it may be best to have some evaluations performed so that doctors are less reluctant to turn you away when you do ask for these types of medications. Also, have you considered trying any other options before resorting to Adderall?
