To answer the original thread question, a round green pill marked "TEVA 833" is identified as Clonazepam (1 mg). Although both medications are of the same Benzodiazepine drug class, they still have a different chemical composition. In which case neither drug can truly be compared on a milligram to milligram basis. The equivalency is also going to be different for each individual's needs, based on their tolerance, potency of the brand, certain binders & fillers, as well as other personal factors. Not only that, but because Clonazepam is a generic formulation, the FDA allows these tablets to contain up to 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient.

In the end, no two drugs are created equal; not even between brands and generics. So you may just have to find out what works best for your own needs through trial and error of working with your doctor.

They say Klonopin and Xanax are an equal 1:1 ratio. So two of the green TEVA 833's will be almost equivalent to one Xanax bar. Only other factors are generics have different binders and the FDA allows up to 20% more or less of the active ingredient. All drugs are a lil diffrent.

Also I forgot to add Klonopin takes longer to kick in and last longer. Xanax is more fast acting and wears off in four hours max!
