I went to my doctor on thursday routine 3 month check up to get my meds . i have prescribed 10 mg hyrocodone for back 350 soma for back 1 mg xanax and also my thyroid meds and allergy asthma meds! I was asked to take a urine test ? ok no problem i got a call today that i tested positive for oxycodone ??? i never took one of those in my life !! I told the nurse the test had to be wrong i never took one of those in my life i would like to be retested this is wrong i was embarrassed ! She put me on hold and came back to tell me that i have 30 days to find a new doctor i broke the policy by taking oxycodone ! i NEVER took one ever in my whole life ! i been seeing this doc for 17 years i am just so upset and embarrassed ! i dont want fo see this doctor any more because of this issue but mostly i dont want this false information on my record what can i do ?? please help me i will deal with the pain but i cant control my thyroid or asthma this is so unreal

Oxycodon and Vic are very close I've been drug tested using first check 12 panel only having takin Vicodin(hydocodon) and came up for oxy and opiates. Tell them to send it to a laberotry as piss tests are not very accurate the metabilsation is not full understood everyone is different your body could be turning it in to oxy I'm a phramcey tech I'm never amazed how uneducated doctors about drugs talk to your pharmacist.
