Terramycin - Teeth Staining

Has anyone found a cure/answer/method to correct severe yellow teeth staining from taking Terramycin as a young child? Dental bleaching hasn't really worked too well. I have been told this is because of the Terramycin affecting the colouring of the teeth from the inside rather than from the outside enamel. Can anyone help? I have put up with the staining for some 40 odd years now and would love to correct it.

Hi, I have the same issue, was on terramycin for a long time as a young child. my teeth are still ugly. I now also have problems with teeth crumbling, or chipping off. Have you heard of this? Dentist said it may be related to the weakness of my enamel.

The only thing I know of is having the teeth capped or veneered. You usually don't have to do them all; just 6-8 of the upper ones that are in the front. It's expensive, but you'll smile more in the long run. Why wasn't there ever a legal suit against the makers of this drug?
