This is an antibiotic that is used to treat, or prevent bacterial infections. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

No, it will not treat a yeast infection, antibiotics can actually cause them as a side effect. An antifungal medication is required to treat a yeast infection.
