Tension Headache For 6 Days.

I started last week with a nasty tension head/neck ache. I had some OLD fioricet (From 2012!) that I gave in and took yesterday. One tab did nothing, so took 2 and another a few hours later. Now today I'm still feeling crappy! I am just worried about rebound headaches. How long could I take this safely without running into problems? I'm trying my hardest not to take it, headaches just got so bad :(

Unfortunately, there is no definitive answer that I can give you, because it can always vary from person to person. Some people can take this medication, as needed, for a very long time and never get rebound headaches, while others may experience them frequently.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain.

Have you consulted your doctor for assistance?
