Can Tenkorex be used to treat persistant Bacterial Vaginosis?

The answer to your question though is no, Bacterial Vaginosis has to be treated with medication with anaerobic coverage and Tenkorex (Cephalexin) doesn't have any. In that regard, it may make it worse by killing the good normal flora, causing the bad bacteria already there to over run your vagina.

"Two different antibiotics are generally recommended as treatment for BV: metronidazole or clindamycin. Either can be used with non-pregnant or pregnant women, but the recommended dosages differ."
