Tenkorex High Dosage

I have recently been to the doctors about severe lower abdominal pain, so my doctor asked me for a urine sample which came back with a trace of leukocytes in it, she gave me a prescription for tenkorex and sent me on my way with those. Now, first off, it's not definitely a urine infection, (I don't think it is,) so why has she prescribed these without knowing why I'm in the pain I'm in? Secondly, she has prescribed me a dose of 1 x 500mg tablet, 4 times a day. I'm a 21 year old female and I weigh 48kg, and I'm 5ft 2". I can't help but feel she has put on way too high of a dose, considering she doesn't actually know for sure what's going with me yet. Please let me know if this dose is normal, thanks.

There are several reasons why leukocytes may be in your urine, but an infection and inflammation somewhere in your bladder, kidneys and/or urinary tract is the most common reason that it occurs.
