Tendon Problems With Ciprofloxacin

I would like to read your experiences with Ciprofloxacin with regards to tendon problems as severe side effects, especially for elderly patients.

Cannot help that much. But, I have seen a T.V. commercial regarding cipro and another anitbiotic
( cannot remember that name)
The commercial said that they can be linked to severe muscle and tendon problems. So, I would suggest seeing a lawyer.

Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic and tendon toxicity is warned about as a possible adverse effect. It is not a very common one, but it is experienced by some people.

Some other serious adverse effects can include: psychosis and peripheral neuropathy.
