while i am on Telmisartan, can i take alcohol?

You should check with your doctor, before imbibing. The FDA classifies Telmisartan as an ARB that is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions, depending on the condition being treated, alcohol may not be safe for you.

Additionally, it can lower your blood pressure in moderate amounts, or raise it in higher amounts, plus it can be cardiotoxic.

The Typical side effects of Telmisartan are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.
