Teens Skin Infection

Would 500 mg teva-cephalexin 4 times a day for 10 days be too much for a 14 year old teen for skin infection treatment?

They should take the medication as directed by their doctor, it is far more risky to let an infection continue out of control.
The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
