Dear sir, my wife 57 diognised of having metirel prolapse heart valve. As per doctors priscribtion she was taking Tazloc 40 for the last 2 years now another doc advised her to take Tazloc 40 H. Could you possibily let me know the reason. what are the side affects? What does this tab does? What are the precautions to be taken?

Tazloc-H contains Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, it is commonly used to treat conditions such as this.
Has she asked the doctor why he changed the medication? The addition of the Hydrochlorothiazide is usually to help with fluid retention and edema, it can also help lower blood pressure.

As to precautions, since it does remove fluid from the body, she does have to be careful to make sure she takes in enough water, so she doesn't end up dehydrated.
