Tazloc Am (amlodipine + Telmisartan) Duration Of Treatment
UpdatedMy blood pressure was 140/110 for which my Dr prescribed Tazloc AM. After about 5 days I checked my blood pressure again and it was 130/96. How long should this medication be taken in order for my blood pressure to reach normal levels?

Hi, Dhingoo! How are you?
It can take several weeks for the medication to reach its full effectiveness in the body and for you to see how well it will lower your blood pressure. Usually about 4 weeks.
It may cause some side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain.
Are there any other questions or concerns?
