taxim-o drops doesnt have any side effects for 4.5 months old baby which is suffering from blood discharge in motion. and also white discharge in urine

Hello,

Taxim-O contains the active ingredient Cefixime. Cefixime is a cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat infections caused by bacteria such as pneumonia; bronchitis; gonorrhea; and ear, lung, throat, and urinary tract infections.

The dosage is on a case by case basis and needs to be determined by a licensed physician or pharmacist.

Side effects: Stomach pain, mild itching or rash, nausea, upset stomach or gas, headache, vaginal itching or discharge.

Consult your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

Diarrhea that is watery or bloody, unusual bleeding, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), rapid weight gain, seizure or convulsions, swelling, urination has stopped or become less frequent, swollen gums, painful mouth sores, easy bruising etc..

Ya, you can give it to ur baby.... It's the best medicine for infants... I even give my 9 month baby this medicine... He was also having a cough, cold n fever.

My son suffering from urinary tract infection.he complete his 5 month and weight is 5.5kg .Now doctor says to give him 5ml texim-o syrup twice a day for 7 days and after then 5ml once a day for 1month.
