my wife is pregnant and it is now more than 7 months, Her dr. prescribed Tax O 200, is it safe for her? is there any side effect which can cause problem for her or for the baby? Dr also prescribed folcovit with the above said medicine for seven days and 2 per day. plz help me?

Taxim-O contains the active ingredient Cefixime. Cefixime is a cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat infections caused by bacteria such as pneumonia; bronchitis; gonorrhea; and ear, lung, throat, and urinary tract infections.
