Tanganil And Breastfeeding

My dr. prescribed Tanganil for me but i'm concerned about taking it when breastfeeding my baby. Is it ok to take it or not while breastfeeding?

This is one topic I haven't been able to find any information on whatsoever. The active ingredient "Acetylleucine" does not display any detailed information either. Because I can't find any info, I'm assuming that this medication is manufactured outside of the U.S.

I did find though that the manufacturer of this drug is Sandoz; but whether or not it is the U.S. based Sandoz or the international company is beyond me. For this reason I would suggest contacting both companies to see if they still make this drug and whether or not you can take it while breastfeeding.
