According to various medical references, hallucinations and unusual thoughts are listed as side effects of Talwin Nx (Pentazocine and Naloxone); and although there is nothing listed in the way of nightmares, I would think that the bad dreams may still be related to how this drug is effecting your body.

Whenever I took Vicodin in the past, it's always given me bad dreams that were very realistic to say the least. So I know first hand that many drugs could potentially cause this as a side effect.

Is it bad enough to make you want to switch medications?
