My doctor just put me on subutex along with percocet. I've been on percocet for yrs for severe and chronic migraines. He told me to take the subutex and if it doesn't work to take a percocet. I usually take 15 mg percocet at a time. I've read some stuff online that worries me. Some people say if you take percs with subutex you'll go into withdrawals. I went through severe withdrawals with fioricet months ago and I don't want to go through that hell again. I took my first subutex about an hour ago and I still have a migraine so I want to take a perc now. Can I do that or will I get sick?

Why don't you stick to your hydro"s and skip the sub? You're talking about several hours, not a week.. Just suck it up! you'll still have it in your system and you won't go through w/d's for 3-5 days, just sayin'

Once again you are so wrong!! I can't believe you, you think you know everything, and spit out wrong answers like a broken PEZ dispenser!! Valium IS prescribed for muscle spasms and has for years.. I know because I've been on it for 2 decades.. You gotta stop giving out wrong info!!

Hi, Why do you want to go back on pain meds, and why did you get on Suboxone to begin with? You don't have to answer, but this is what the doctor will ask.. How long have you been on Suboxone? I'm just curious because I've been on pain meds for years and I switched to Belbuca 3 months ago, and it does help with the pain.. Look up Belbuca, it might be good for you? You will not get sick... I used to take the Subutex with opiates so I wouldn't overdose. Suboxone would send u into precipitated withdrawal.

I have a couple of Subutex (54 411) and I’m wondering firstly if it is okay to take one (or just partial about 8 hours after taking oxycodone? Will it work, or make me sick? I am just wanting to take a little so I don’t go into withdrawals at work the next day while I’m waiting for my hydrocodone script to be filled. Secondly, how long do I have to wait after taking Subutex to take hydrocodone?

People can take Percocet with Subutex but they can't take Percocet with suboxone it won't do anything to them they'll just pee it out and that's it. Educate educate educate yourselves.

Hello....
I have finally figured out you can't talk to stupid you just can't they're going to do whatever they want to do. Let them get sick as hell and then they may listen. If you're going to take the subs take the subs and just move on. This is ridiculous I think sometimes people are just trying to kill themselves. Just unreal.

Hi, I have a son that's an addict and we talk about it all the time. He's finally crossed over and went to the subs and I'm so proud of him. And he's doing it the right way because he lives here with me. I don't judge anyone in life because I walked my own path and it haven't been Pleasant at times. But I talk to my kids a lot. Subutex will take away the withdrawals, but self medicating is not a good idea, and mixing gabapentin with the Subutex is not a very good idea, it can cause seizures, and other adverse effects, please be careful.

Thanks...I just took 30 perks in 3 days and now I have 4 subutex...so I can start taking pieces of those and I'll feel good, right?? And I noticed that neurontin with the subs is great!

Plz, I was pregnant and was on subutex and weaned off a month before I had him, a perfectly healthy boy, no withdrawal for the baby. So before u start judging ppl u need to understand what happens. I doubt u have kids or are an addict cuz u would already know what they tell u.

Hello kkh, how have you been? Fine I hope. It's crazy how some just won't listen, you can even give them the actual website address that clearly states the facts like Suboxone and Subutex are opiates that naloxone is an abuse-deterrent and that buprenorphine is the drug in both and it is actually itself what caused the precipitated withdrawals, and then there's this question, why is a person that's "prescribed" Suboxone/Subutex taking any...any...other opiate much less a benzo, you know though the best teacher is experience. I just wouldn't wish the precipitated experience on anyone. Glad to see you again and hope your doing well.
