Taking Oxycodone And Hydrocodone A Few Hours Apart (Top voted first)

Can I take a 5 mg oxycodone 2 hours after taking two hydrocodone for a bad headache? I had gallbladder surgery and think the anesthesia gave me the headache all day.

Have they both been prescribed for you?

Sometimes these medications are taken together to help improve pain control, but you should not do so on just a whim of our own, due to the risk of overdose.

The FDA also warns that they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

Are you on any other medications?

I took the last of my hydrocodone 10mg and when i went to pick up my prescription my doctor switched me to 30mg of roxicodone. So now should i wait until tomorrow to start them or can i take one even though i took a hydrocodone 10mg about 3hrs ago?
