Taking My First Set Of Contraceptive Pills

l took my first set of pills and was on my 7 day free break when my period came. Before and after l took the second pack I was experiencing bleeding. Now l am on my 7 day free break once again and want to know how I can determine when my period will come? Please helped me!!

It can be a normal side effect of oral contraceptive tablets, to have irregular bleeding for the first 3 months, while your body adjusts to the medication.

However, as long as you have taken the active tablets each day, exactly like you are supposed to, then you are still protected against pregnancy.

And you are still protected during your break week, even if you do not bleed, at all, that week.
