Taking More Chantix But Causes Nausea

I been taking it for about 6 weeks now every day. I cut back on smoking to less than a pk a day but still not kicking it, stress triggers urges to smoke. Lately I have doubled the dose and it seems to help, but I'm cautious doing so because I get a little nausea after. I wonder if its best to take it mostly when I'm awake? Its actually worked better for me to stop drinking instead of smoking, strangely, I bought a case of Coors light and I drank 1 and they been sitting on the floor not in the fridge almost 2 months. What can I do to help the drug work? Can I think anti smoking thoughts or read anti smoking material to help effectiveness?

I tried chantix a few years ago and couldn't stay on it when I got to the blue pills. The nausea was too much. So, when I tried it again recently, I made a plan. I took 1 pill before better and extended out the small doses for 2 weeks. Then, I set a firm date with no cigarettes. I'm not going to lie. The first day I was white knuckling it. I was thinking about smoking like every 5-15 minutes but I gritted it out. The second day of being on the full 2 a day dose, I noticed that I thought about cigarettes very little right after taking the pill. Maybe only a few times as compared to the obsessive fixation of before. So instead of taking the second pill right before bed time, I took it about 7-8 hours after the first when the other pill seemed to "wear off" and I started to think more and more about smoking. I seem to think less about smoking within about 30 minutes of taking a pill. I have also noticed that dense bread is your friend for the nausea. Whenever I start to feel like I might vomit (usually right after taking the pill), I eat either a big bagel or dense oat bread. Both seem to absorb the disgusting pill sludge swirling in your gut, and the nausea goes away in minutes.
