Taking Hydrocodone 10/325 After Percocet 7.5/325

Hi. My doctor just changed me from oxycodone 7.5/325 to hydrocodone 10/325. Is it safe to start taking the hydrocodone 6 hours after taking Percocet 7.5/325?

Usually, you can switch cleanly from one to the other, unless your doctor has instructed otherwise. For example, if they directed you to take them every 8 hours, then that is what you should do.

The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

What instructions did they provide? Are you on any other medications?
