Taking Expired Provigil
UpdatedI have a lot of Provigil left from 9 years ago... It was prescribed for the fatigue & sleepiness of fibromyalgia. Is it likely to be still effective after 9 yrs? Is it too old to take?

You can learn a lot of medication expiration dates on this FDA page.
Generally, medications start to lose efficacy once expired, due to exposure to the substances that cause degradation, such as heat, light, and moisture. Thus, after 9 years, they are most likely no longer effective and it would be best to dispose of them properly.
Is there anything else I can help with?
