Taking Trazodone 10mg - Can I Also Take Cyclobenzaprine 5mg

I'm taking Trazodone 10mg and was now prescribed cyclobenzaprine 5mg. Can these meds be taken simultaneously?

Were they both prescribed by the same doctor, so they are aware you are taking both?

They both tend to increase sedation and both can also increase serotonin levels, which could be dangerous if they go too high, so they should only be taken together, if your doctor has specifically instructed you to do so.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, cry mouth and drowsiness.
