Taking Stamlo 10mg As An Alternative To Amlong 10mg

I have been diagnosed with Lichen Planus (skin disease). I also have high blood pressure for which I have been taking Amlong 10mg in the morning and Telma 20mg post dinner for the last 7 years. Recently, my doctor has told me to take an alternative medicine to Amlong 10mg since this medicine has side effects that include skin rashes, etc. Please advise whether it's ok to have Stamlo 10mg as a substitute?

They both contain the same active ingredient, so it isn't likely that switching will change the side effects that you are experiencing.

The NIH lists other side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

Did you experience any rashes, or other side effects while taking it?
